Airivo Acquires New Office Building in London’s Shoreditch, Hoxton EC2

Airivo, flexible office space provider, are delighted to announce the acquisition of the recently refurbished office accommodation at 91/93 Great Eastern Street EC2 from GMS Estates on a 10 year lease.

The 10,000 ft² of customisable office space is over 5 floors, and is a 2-minute walk from Old Street Station. This acquisition represents part of Airivo’s plan to expand into Central London as well as other key locations across the UK.

Due to the current demand for this sought-after location, Airivo has also announced it is in advanced discussions to the let nearly half of the building off-plan. Over the next 8 weeks the site will benefit from a £½ million fitting out programme, delivering fully fitted offices that will boast modern facilities whilst retaining many of the building’s original features.

Naveen Bhandari, Managing Director at Airivo said, “We are delighted to be acquiring this stunning new site in the heart of Silicon Roundabout and we are excited about the opportunity to extend Airivo’s exceptional level of service and expertise to a new client base in Central London’s tech city.”

Airivo have been providing flexible workspace for over 15 years, beginning with the opening of their first building in West Ealing, London W7 in 2002. They currently operate various locations in West London and about a year ago launched a site in Birmingham City Centre.

GMS Estates purchased the building in 2015 and have been carrying out a phased refurbishment of the property including converting the top 2 floors of residential accommodation to terraced office accommodation.

Office Freedom, formerly SOS Search Office Space and John Dean of McCarthy Denning, acted on behalf of Airivo to acquire the site. Colliers International advised GMS Estates.
